ready to go

Yesterday I brought the kids to my mom’s for a little while so I could go put in a few hours at the office. Katherine insisted on bringing her “chocolate bunny” and “baby”. Then she decided they needed to ride in “Abigail’s seat” (where my sister sat one time when she went with us somewhere months ago – in the back seat next to Katherine). She also decided they needed to be buckled…

I love my daughter :)

linking up with Simple things Sunday.

Great weekly thing I try to do – focus on the “simple things”. Especially helpful to remember to look for these things when things get stressful. It helps me to remember that the kids won’t be young forever and that I should try to remember these times as little special moments and not as stressful moments. Even if we are late to grandma’s :)

Oh how fun! My little girlie is starting to do similar things with her stuffed duck; feeding it carrots, including it in her daily activities, etc… And, this may seem silly, but my first baby doll was exactly like your daughter’s “baby”! If I remember correctly, she never wore doll clothes either… :) Thanks for the fun memory. Stopping by from The Simple Things. ~janel

I love their natural instinct to nurture and mother. Absolutely by God’s design. Thanks for sharing.
